In 2017 ID4Africa responded to requests from government identity authorities for more document and credential security tracks by creating a focused document security symposium (DocSec) within the full ID4Africa Annual Meeting Program.

DocSec is a whole day of 4 sessions focusing on expert tutorials, credential security printing and security features, ePassports and travel documents, identity and document fraud, covering all the issues related to secure documents.

ID4Africa Welcomes the Secure Identity Document Supply Chain

In fact, a smart ID credential consists of dozens of components that require competence and specialization.
